Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how [Company Legal Name] ("VIP Experience," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the VIP Experience platform and the websites, apps, and services that link to this policy (the "Service"). VIP Experience is a booking platform that lets guests reserve and pay for VIP and private experiences at participating venues from their phone.
1. Who this policy covers
The Service is used by several types of people, and the information we handle differs for each:
- Guests — people who scan a venue's QR code to view packages and pay for a booking. Guests do not create an account.
- Venue staff — owners, managers, and performers who use the Service to operate a venue's bookings, profiles, and reporting.
2. Information we collect
From guests: the booking details you select (such as the package, performer, date, and time), the contact information you provide to receive your confirmation or receipt (such as your name and phone number), and payment information you enter at checkout.
From venue staff: account information such as name, email address, phone number, and password, together with any profile content you add (for example, a stage name, biography, photos, business hours, and descriptions).
Payment information: card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Connected social accounts: if a venue chooses to connect a social media account (such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or X) so that posts created in the Service can be shared to that account, we store the authorization tokens and the account identifier or handle the platform returns. We use this access only to publish content the venue creates and to show connection status.
Automatically: like most online services, we collect limited technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, and usage activity, and we use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service.
3. How we use information
- To process and confirm bookings and payments and to deliver receipts and confirmations.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To provide venue staff with their bookings, earnings, reporting, and profile tools.
- To publish content to a venue's connected social accounts when the venue chooses to do so.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your payment information is subject to Stripe's privacy practices. We receive limited transaction details (such as amount, status, and the last digits and brand of the card) needed to operate bookings, payouts, refunds, and reconciliation. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
5. How we share information
- Venues. Booking information is shared with the venue you are booking with so it can fulfill and manage your reservation.
- Service providers. We use vendors that process information on our behalf, including payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting and file storage, real-time messaging, and transactional email.
- Connected social platforms. When a venue publishes content to a connected account, that content and related data are sent to the chosen platform and handled under that platform's terms and privacy policy.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, safety, and property of users, the public, or VIP Experience.
- Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Connected social platforms
If a venue connects an account from Meta (Instagram and Facebook), TikTok, or X, we access only what is needed to publish content the venue creates and to display connection status. We use that access in accordance with each platform's developer terms and policies, and a venue can disconnect an account at any time from its settings, which revokes our stored access for that account.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, to meet the purposes described in this policy, and to comply with legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. We then delete or de-identify it.
8. Your choices and data deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal limits. To make a request, or to ask us to delete data associated with a connected social account, email support@casivo.app. Venue staff can also edit much of their profile information directly within the Service, and can disconnect connected social accounts at any time.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Age of users
The Service relates to age-restricted nightlife venues and is not directed to children. It is intended for adults who meet the minimum age required by the venue and by applicable law. Do not use the Service if you do not meet that age requirement.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be made available through the Service.
12. Contact us
